Our Organization

Hirabai Meghe Bahu Uddheshiy Shikshan Sanstha, established in 2021 in Nagpur, Maharashtra, is a dedicated non-governmental organization (NGO) committed to the comprehensive development of rural communities. The organization focuses on education, health, skill development, youth empowerment, and environmental sustainability.

HMBSS is registered under the Society Registration Act, 1860 and the Mumbai Public Trust Act, 1950, with a clear mandate to serve the underserved and contribute to sustainable rural development.

The organization has implemented various programs across multiple districts in Maharashtra, including digital literacy training for over 1.5 lakh women, youth, and adolescents, and has active projects in Nagpur, Wardha, Akola, Amravati, Chandrapur, and Yavatmal districts.

To empower rural populations by providing access to quality education, essential healthcare services, and comprehensive skill development programs. The Sanstha is committed to fostering youth leadership, promoting environmental sustainability, and enhancing the overall well-being of the communities it serves.

Our Focus Areas

We concentrate our efforts on five key areas to create sustainable impact in rural communities.

Education & Literacy

Computer literacy, hardware maintenance training, and vocational education aligned with NEP 2020.

Skill Development

Training in electrical wiring, AC repair, tailoring, beautician courses, and entrepreneurship workshops.

Youth Empowerment

Leadership development, career guidance, and cultural/sports activities for holistic growth.

Health & Wellness

Health check-up camps, awareness campaigns, and maternal/child health programs.

Environmental Sustainability

Tree plantation drives, environmental education, and waste management initiatives.
